The New Forms Project is a
joint collaboration between Lachlan Grey and Jordan Walker that started
almost two years ago with a series of conversations begun with the
question: "How does one lead an extraordinary life?" Having worked on many projects together since then, from initiating community work groups to building an art car for the desert, we find that our backgrounds, skill sets and personalities compliment each other exceptionally well. Lach has a varied, hands-on background working in boat building and fine home construction. He has been a team leader for large groups of people and started his own company fabricating racing kayaks while competing in adventure racing in New Zealand. Jordan has a unique conceptual background, studying various art forms for a self-designed multi-media major in college and collaborating on many creative endeavors within the worlds of film, education, music and theater. Jordan has also founded his own company, producing audio/visual content and promoting unique multi/media events. We both have a deep interest in bringing the spiritual and everyday more closely together and helping to foster community. We have worked with at-risk youth in wilderness settings and both pride ourselves on our ability to take projects from conception to realization. The New Forms Project is the result of many, many hours of conversation and living the answer to the question that inspired us two years ago. |
