Sept. 19th through November 7th, 2010 - Research Events at the Threefold Educational Center.

Thank you to the 2010 research team and everyone who helped to make the research residency, symposium, exhibit and catalogue such an amazing success!
From Sept. through December the Threefold Educational Center held a series of research events around the seven week prototype research residency with Frank Chester.  More information about these events will be added at threefold.org/research .

The residency team presented it's process at the research exhibit entitled Art as Research and Scientific Inquiry as a Creative Act.  The exhibition coincided with Research Symposium co-sponsored by the Collegium of the School of Spiritual Science Nov. 5th - 7th.    More articles, pictures and an exhibition catalogue download available here.

The result of our first trip to the Philippines, SOCIETAL WHOLENESS.ORG is a web piece that features short videos of Nicanor Perlas describing what a Politics might look like if it were to seek to harmonize the different aspects of the Social Organism.  Nicanor was running for President of the Philippines when the videos were taken.  Nicanor's platform was (and still is) being referred to as "New Politics" and has something groundbreaking to offer to individuals in every country.

May 1st - 3rd, 2009 Art is Movement Think OutWord Event Spring Valley and NYC 


 









the new forms project, as members of the core group and Credere Fund Grantees, helped host a think outword gathering in Spring Valley and NYC.  We conducted an embodied study of what lies in-between:  point and periphery, horizontal and vertical, individual and community.  We worked with the practice of social sculpture and experiencing for ourselves the inner capacities necessary for bringing about meaningful social change.  We toured an exhibit of work by artist Joseph Beuys at the Museum of Modern Art and conducted our own creative missions throughout the city. Once again we embarked on a summer spiritual research tour, this time with 10 friends!  Our travels took us to the Black Rock Desert for the Burning Man Arts Festival and back to the east coast aboard a bus named "Mercury".   Information about our trip and the other participants.  The travel blog we kept.
